Amaroo Park has evolved, in a full circle of sorts, into a unique commercial and cultural precinct, reminiscent of Oscar Glaser's first commercial activities on the same site in 1954. Well before it was developed for motor racing, the first buildings housed  a joinery shop, nursery, general store, tea rooms, garages, engineering facilities, workshops, and a service station. These mid century brick and steel structures are situated on 15 acres at the Annangrove Road entrance to the former motor racing complex. They are occupied today by an automotive auction house, blacksmith, traditional printmaker, art studio, nursery, restaurant, cafe, motorcycle museum, and restoration workshop, among others.
