The 375m bitumen hill climb was located on the northern boundary of Amaroo Park. A license granted for it's use under the Speedway Racing (Public Safety) Act was issued to Amaroo Park Pty Ltd on the 3rd August 1962. It saw consistent use by car and motorcycle clubs during its lifetime, and its closure was a big loss for club racing in Sydney.
