The ¼ mile dirt speedway was one of two proposed by the Amaroo Country Sporting Club. It was formed around the lake at the same time the main circuit was constructed. There are accounts of one or two demonstration events, but as far as we are aware, it was never licensed, and there were no official speedway meetings held on it. We welcome any input or further information in relation to it.

The Amaroo Country Sporting Club plans for the complex also included a 1/2 mile speedway, labelled 7 on map.
Another speedway was proposed by the ARDC in 1976. 275m in length, it was proposed to run for dedicated motorcycle meetings. The development was rejected by council due to noise concerns.
