The first meeting on the scrambles track took place on the 24th June 1962. Although not publicised, it attracted 60 riders across 18 events, and was well attended by spectators.

Len Main, The Motorcycle Clubman 30th June 1962.........

"The track was in very good condition, being well graded. Set on the side of a hill, the circuit reminded former overseas riders of courses usually seen in France. With good jump in straight, the circuit also had sharp corners and steep up-and-down grades."

Despite the good start, only 5 open meetings were held on the scrambles circuit. The first was run by Amaroo Park Scrambles Limited on the 6th August 1962 by and the last in February 1964.
